Starting BR: $46.28
Ending BR: $44.22

I don't know what I'm doing wrong but I can't seem to get anything going. And once I do I get fished out on good play after good play. I'm at a loss on what to do right now. I may take a week off or something to clear my head. My cards plus the play of these guys is beyond comprehension.

Short session today...

Starting BR: $45.63
Ending BR: $46.28

It was a short session. Double table. Only able to get up .65. I had AA busted by AK suited on a running flush early on. Then later got the guy to call my all-in when I had JJ. The donkey only had 66. That got me back up close to even and I just ground it out after that.

And the spiral continues

Starting BR: $48.95
Ending BR: $45.63

How bad will it get? Its like everyone gets 1 card better than me. I raise and people are staying with 5 2 and 7 4 and hitting on top of when I actually hit. The last two days have been gut wrenchingly bad. That's why you stay within your BR limits. Because if I had these cards on tables where my entire roll was invested I would be in broke.

Chin up. I won't be playing tomorrow as I'll be out of the office. But when I come back on thursday i should be killing them all.

Bleeding me dry...

Starting BR: $50.81
Ending BR: $48.95

No more deviation from the plan. I got a little frisky this weekend and played a 1.10 sng to get into the sunday 100grand. Didn't qualify because i got sucked out on. That's why I don't play tournies on PS. Too damn fishy.

Been getting beat up on the penny tables. Lots of flushes hitting lately. Not to mention boats and straights at my expense as well. I love it when a guy calls most of his stack on a draw. Keep playin those percentages fishies. I'll be here waiting for you.

First loss of the new year...

Starting BR: $54.67
Ending BR: $50.81

I had a tough round last night. Whooooo boy. I was getting bashed by big hands. I lost with a flush to a rivered boat. I lost with top 2 to a flopped junk straight. And the list goes on. When I didn't have the better kicker I lost, and when I did have the better kicker the other guy had 2 pair. It was just one of those nights.

I played at lunch today. My cards were not very good. I had been getting a little loose and trying to press to make things happen. I just sat back today and tried to be more patient. I won $.36 but I saw almost 125 hands. Not too great. I saw JJ a couple times but none of the big pockets. I played about 250 hands last night and didn't see AA or KK once. I'm definitely due for a big session with a lot of big cards because mine have been scarce.

Leave it.

Another good day in 2008

Starting BR: $51.61
Ending BR: $54.67

I got a good table image going today and was able to get a guy to bluff me his stack when I had top two. I put up just over $3 today. I hope I can keep the roll going tomorrow.

New Year, New Month

Well folks, its time for the month end update from December and the Year end update from 2007. So here goes...

December.
Starting BR: $45.34
Ending BR: $51.61

That is only a 13.8% increase in my bankroll for the month. It was a rough month. I had a bad week and a half in the middle of the month. But the end of the month was very good and I was able to bounce back.

2007 Year End.
Starting BR: $15.00
Ending BR: $51.61

That is a 244% increase in my bankroll for the year. My bankroll percentages will hopefully jump at a yearly rate of over 300%. If I can triple my money from year to year it would be ok. It wouldn't be great, but it wouldn't be bad. That would see me at $150 by year end. This means I would be just getting ready to hit the nickle/dime level in 2009. Hopefully it won't take that long.

As for my first session of 2008
Starting BR: $51.61
Ending BR: $52.38

I was up $.77 for my first session. I saw a lot of pocket pairs and hit a couple but didn't make out really well on them. The hand that did it was when I had KJ and flopped 10 10 J, then turned a J, and rivered the 4th J. The guy didn't believe me when I put him all-in. I win :)
